Program: Celebrating Holiday Dinners - To Cook or Not to Cook?
How do you manage all the holiday meal prep or are there good alternatives which still let you give it that personal touch? Join us as Trophy Club’s chef will show us how to make Pumpkin Creme Brûlée for that fabulous finale to your holiday meal - using a torch is not that scary. He will also delight us with a special cocktail to serve. We will provide information on alternatives to cooking the entire meal yourself plus some out of the box recipe ideas. Plus Rhonda will share some wine tips. Even if you purchase some, or all, of your holiday dinner, we will have ways to take it up a notch to give it that personal look and touch. Come join us for fun, festivities and great door prizes!
Menu: Roasted Herb de Provence Turkey Breast with natural gravy and orange cranberry jam; Field Greens with a bouquet of roasted garlic, candied pecans and sweet potatoes; chef’s choice of Vegetable and Cranberry Dressing; and Mini Pumpkin Brûlée. Cash Bar: including a signature drink - Spiced Apple Cider
Charity: Southlake Newcomers Club Foundation's Scholarship Fund - Scholarship Check Writing party at our November meeting is the perfect answer to raise funds for SNC scholarships without adding stress to the holiday. No baskets to make, no gift wrapping required, no items to purchase! Instead, at our November meeting we are asking members to kindly consider writing a check (or cash, credit card donation) for our scholarship fund.
To attend the dinner, everyone must register online by the deadline of midnight on November 9th. The cost is $25 per person. Cutoff date and time for online registration is midnight on the Monday 8 days before the dinner. (Mask and social distancing requirements will be in place for this event).

* If your friend is a prospective member (not someone visiting from out of town), contact Dianne Duke to let her know about your guest and SNC will cover the cost of her first luncheon/dinner.
NOTE: Due to Trophy Club Country Club's requirements and Covid restrictions, MEMBERS WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER LATE UNLESS THERE IS A VACANCY THE DAY BEFORE THE DINNER (you would be contacted at that time). The cost is then $30 per person for late registrants and can be paid by check or credit card at the luncheon/dinner.

Because of our contractual obligations with Trophy Club, once you have registered you must pay for your luncheon/dinner, whether you attend or not. We are sorry, but we are unable to apply a credit toward a future luncheon, dinner or event.
