Determination and Perseverance in Challenging Times
"No matter what challenges in life you come across, you can overcome them with faith, passion, determination,” said Karen Lucchesi.
In March of 2018, Karen Lucchesi released her memoir, "Innocent Woman, The Karen Lucchesi Story," detailing the harrowing real-life story of how she was framed for laundering money and faced a 10-year prison sentence. Shortly after its release, the book became a #1 best-seller and is currently one of the top-selling biographies by a woman on Amazon.
Join us at the April General Meeting to learn more from Karen about her interesting story of perseverance and grit. This is going to be a great meeting! We will see you there.

LAST CHANCE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
We are beginning to receive a bunch of scholarship applications!!! At first glance, we are impressed by the academic achievements of this group of high-economic-need students. Thank you to everyone who has supported and blessed these deserving students!!! Charity of the Month: April
In April, SNC will be featuring the Homeless Veterans Services of Dallas. Homeless Veterans Services of Dallas provide the first point of contact for Veterans needing to connect to nonprofit, employment, educational, and VA resources to offer paths toward self-sufficiency. Veterans in a cycle of poverty and homelessness are often unaware of the available benefits. Their onsite staff assess on a case-by-case basis to identify and locate assistance, help veterans navigate the paperwork, and determine qualifications for federal programs such as HUD-VASH. In other words, they help provide direction to find more permanent housing solutions!
Homeless Veterans Services of Dallas has a Day Center that provides homeless and reintegrating veterans access to showers, laundry, a computer lab, and a TV lounge.
In partnership with Dallas Community College, they also offer free job skills training for veterans in the high-demand field of welding.
Please help support this valuable organization!
They need the following items:
• Insect Repellant
• Sunscreen
• Foot Powder
• Rain Ponchos
• Travel Size Shampoo
• Travel Size Liquid Body Wash (no bar soap, please)
• Travel Size Deodorant
• Toothbrush & Toothpaste
• Body Wipes
To attend the luncheon everyone must register online by the deadline of 10 pm on April 10th. The cost is $29.50 per person. Cutoff date and time for online registration is 10 pm on the Monday 8 days before the dinner.
Because of our contractual obligations with Trophy Club, once you have registered you must pay for your luncheon, whether you attend or not. We are sorry, but we are unable to apply a credit toward a future luncheon or event.

PAYPAL: If you have a PayPal account or want to pay by credit card, you may pay online at no additional cost to you. Simply click the “PAY ONLINE” button during the registration process. (THIS IS THE PREFERRED METHOD)

CREDIT CARD: We accept credit cards at the luncheon. Present your card to the Hospitality check-in table.
NOTE: MEMBERS WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER LATE UNLESS THERE IS A VACANCY THE DAY BEFORE THE LUNCHEON (you would be contacted at that time). The cost is then $34.50 per person for late registrants and can be paid by check or credit card at the luncheon/dinner.
